Walking on Fleecydale: mobile post

I'm very curious about the old I path that Fleecydale Road used to take out of Carversville. The current road was not laid out until 1844 ... I wonder if there are any older maps out there that show the first road.

  1. Have a look at the 1831 Bucks County map that showed the route of the Lehigh and Delaware canal. You can find it at the Library of Congress site here:

  4. You're very welcome, Rayna. I've put your blog in my reader so that I won't miss any entries. It's nice to have a link to home - husband and I have been away in Maine, and now Vermont, for the last ten years. We miss home and hope to get back some day.
