Upper Moreland house razing

I'm in love with these 1969 photos of a house demolition in Upper Moreland. They were taken on February 28 and ran in The Daily Intelligencer on March 3.

Staff photographer Don Renner wrote:

PAST HISTORY — Demolition of two old houses at the corner of Route 611 and Fitzwatertown Road in Upper Moreland Township paves the way for a new Sun Oil Company gasoline service station on the 2,400 square-foot lot. The lot today is completely leveled. Photo was taken Friday. Construction is expected to begin as soon as weather permits.
