Conservatory of Music

Larry Handy stopped by again yesterday with this photo of the Doylestown Conservatory of Music on the steps of the court house, from about 1942. He told me a man named Pearlman (Perlman?) had a music store at the corner of Main and Oakland, and had teachers there who taught various instruments. Larry took trumpet lessons. That's him on the far right, second row from the top:

Hi Larry!

Charlie Rushdon

"A Cotton twin"

Ed Riebel "A very good trumpet player"

  1. Rayna ... I'm told this photo was taken in front of the old courthouse!
