Strapping young lads

Peter Moyer submitted this photo of these strapping young lads — in other words, the 1930 North Wales High School football team. Peter’s father sits on the bottom row, third from the left. When the North Wales school consolidated with two other schools to become North Penn High School in 1955, the North Wales building was converted to an elementary school and remains so to this day.
