Model T: 1923

Hazel Charles of Jamison submitted this photo of her grandfather, Elmer Campbell, and his Ford Model T, taken about 1923 on West State Street in Doylestown. Hazel recalls that her grandfather would take her for rides to lull her to sleep when she was a fussy 6-month-old. She writes, "He was so proud of his Model T. This photo was taken just across from 131 West State. It is now just a parking lot."
