Sellersville, 1926
The Sellersville Museum submitted this photograph, taken in 1926, of North Main Street and Green Street, Sellersville. That same year, Main Street became U.S. Route 309. The Knight Overland sign advertised its automobile sales and service center located at the bottom of the Green Street hill. The building would later house the post office and, more recently, Lizzie High Dolls. The stone building in the far left background was the former Teller’s flour mill, though today, it’s better known as Teller’s Mill Condominiums.
Founded in 1738, Sellersville is celebrating its 275th anniversary in 2013 with a wide range of events scheduled throughout the year.
