This photo, dated August 5, 1916, shows Samuel Vasey of Lumberville canoeing in the Delaware Canal with his future wife, Anna.
Earlier this month we saw a picture of Samuel and Anna standing by the canal — this shot was taken the following day. Samuel and Anna married in 1918 and remained that way until Anna’s death, 64 years later.
