This photo, taken Aug. 5, 1958, shows construction beginning on what is the present-day courthouse in Doylestown, with Broad Street to the left and Court Street in the background. Visible on the right is Bucks County’s previous courthouse, built in 1877 and demolished to make way for the current rotunda in 1959.
