1880s Ringing Rocks and some fun handwriting

At work today, I came across this fun old draft for the tract of land that Ringing Rocks sits on. It reads:

A draft of a tract of land situated in the Township of Nockamixon in the County of Bucks and the State of Pennsylvania, Containing Seven Acres and twenty nine perches of land and allowances of six percent for Roads. Surveyed the 28th day of August A.D. 1889 In pursuance of a warrant granted to Charles N. Reed inc. Abel B. Haring and Lorenzo D. Hagaman dated the 9th day of August A.D. 1889

I love the little scribbles that are supposed to be the rocks. Very different than the 1876 J.D. Scott Atlas drawing of Stoney Garden. (Also, I'm unsure why they're placing the land in Nockamixon Township; Ringing Rocks is in Bridgeton, isn't it?)*

In the same folder was a patent for the tract, which was more or less your standard land patent, but beautifully lettered. It looked like something from a much earlier time:

*Bridgetown broke off from Nockamixon in 1890. Thanks, Jesse!
